Our first-ever single origin Zambia coffee is one we won't soon forget! Grown in the heart of south-central Africa, this specialty coffee is bright, comforting, and made for slow mornings; whether you're enjoying sunrise on the porch or sipping by the water. It's a beautifully balanced cup that's as memorable and unique as the place it comes from.
This Zambian coffee opens with sweet fruits, raw sugar, and a touch of caramel, then moves into cranberry, orange, and pomegranate notes. As it cools, baking spice and nutmeg show up, giving the cup a mulled-wine feel without weighing it down. The finish is clean and juicy with a moderate acidity, layered cane sugar sweetness, and a summery smoothness that pulls you back for another sip. It’s unique yet approachable, and makes us wonder what took us so long to bring in a great coffee from Zambia!

This coffee comes from Lupili Estate in Zambia's Northern Province, where quality goes hand in hand with caring for the land and the people who grow it. Rainforest Alliance Certified, the estate invests in clean water, housing, medical facilities, and other community infrastructure while protecting nearly 2,900 hectares of surrounding forest and ecological buffer zones. Lupili is also helping reshape opportunities in the region, with more than 35% of its permanent workforce and two-thirds of its management trainees being women. It's an exceptional specialty coffee that's grown with the future in mind.
Processing: Washed
Growing Region: Northern Province, Zambia; 1300 - 1600 MASL. Rainforest Alliance Certified
Excellent for: Pour overs, drip coffee, Chemex
Brewing Tips: Go with a higher brew ratio (a bit more water on the V60) to bring out the citrus and cranberry brightness and a juicier finish. Fuller extractions pull out more caramel, baking spice, and that cozy finish.
