Calling all fruity coffee lovers - this one is for you! Lightly roasted and naturally processed, Shoondhisa is bursting with juicy berry character, bright acidity, and sweet, dessert-like flavors. We love this coffee so much that we bring it back year after year, and every harvest gives us another reason to be excited about it.
Dried blueberry, caramel, and berry cobbler make for a seriously juicy cup, balanced by bright, lemony acidity and sweet milk chocolate. A moderately thick body gives it some weight, while a lightly sweet quality keeps the finish clean and lively. Bright, sweet, and wonderfully fruit-forward.

Roast Level: Medium - Light
Sourced by Ture Waji and Sookoo Coffee from approximately 35 smallholder farmers in Shoondhisa, Guji, Ethiopia; this coffee is a beautiful example of what small farms can produce. The organically grown cherries are naturally processed at Suke’s centralized drying station, where the coffee seed dries inside the fruit, helping create the juicy and fruit-forward character you’ll find in the cup. Small farms, careful hands, and one seriously good coffee.
Processing: Natural, organically grown
Growing Region: Shoondhisa, Guji 2000 - 2150 MASL
Variety: Gibirinna 74110 & Serto 74112
Excellent for: Pour over, drip coffee, Aeropress, Chemex, bright iced coffee
Brewing Tips: Lower-strength brews (try a 1:17 ratio) highlight citrus and tea-like qualities, while slightly higher ratios bring forward deeper caramel sweetness and fuller fruit notes. Our favorite brew was a classic Aeropress recipe.
