Burundi Ninga Hill
Get your hands on this light roast that is perfectly balanced; from the juicy and bright flavors, to the light and crisp body - with nothing outshining the others! Coffee is an important aspect of the culture and economy of Burundi, and has a unique complexity that differs from other African coffees. This coffee is a celebration of community—from farm to cup—and we’re so excited to share it with you.
With an average farm size of just 300 square meters, farmers in the Ninga community bring hand-picked cherries to the Ninga washing station for further processing. High altitudes and hilly landscapes make this harvest a labor of love, producing an exceptionally elegant washed coffee.
Bright, sweet and complex; the fresh ground aroma will smell of lemonade, stone fruit, and hibiscus flower. Tasting notes of apricot, lemon bars, dried cherry and golden raisin sweetness sing in harmony with the light-bodied and crisp aftertaste. Dare we say- it is the best roast for summer.
