Colombia El Rubi

This rich Colombian coffee is a welcome addition to our single origin lineup because of its rich and balanced flavor at a darker roast. The aroma bursts with notes of black cherry, dark chocolates and nuts. The flavor in the cup is thick with chocolates like a double chocolate milkshake, with vanilla and pecan to round out the perfect daily coffee.

El Rubi is a unique project lot from our partners based in Colombia who were able to bring together small amounts of coffee from several Vereda (tiny villages in the mountains). Together, these small coffee farmers can work directly with the producer to receive individual payment and traceability of their incredible coffee. We are proud to support work like this in the coffee sector by highlighting the distinct flavor of Colombian coffee that may not have otherwise gotten the attention it deserves.
