Colombia Garzon Gesha
This is an extremely small lot, it’s so special it will be roasted in your own personal batch!
Just after grinding the coffee, you can pick up aromatics of apricot and fruit (it reminds us of Fruity Pebbles). Once you wet the grinds, you can pick up honeysuckle, sweet pine needles, and caramel candy. After brewing, you can taste lemon, graham crackers, a hint of chocolate; with a light body and juicy lemon acidity.
The Gesha variety (or Geisha) is believed to be Ethiopian in origin and named after the town of Gesha. It is known for its exceptionally floral and aromatic cups; making this rare coffee variety highly sought after. It gained popularity after its use by a Panamanian farm to win numerous competitions.
Garzon Gesha is an innovative community microlot from one of our partners. They are able to bring together incredibly small amounts (often less than one bag) of this variety in order to share with us all!
Geshas are incredibly special and we treat this coffee with the utmost respect, which is why your coffee will be roasted to order. Please allow extra time for this item to ship so we can roast your own personal batch.
Bag sizing starts at four ounces, but we are also offering 12 and 32 ounce sizes. Five pound bags will only be available by contacting us.
